Homemade Makeup Remover
Ingredients:
1 C Distilled Water
1/3c FRACTIONATED Cocunut Oil*
1t Baby Mild Castille Soap
2-4 drops Lavender Essential Oil
1/2t Vitamin E Oil
2 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
Combine all of the above ingredients in a jar with a tight fitting lid, and gently combine. You can stir it, or turn it upside down to mix it, but avoid shaking vigorously as this will just make it sudsy.
When ready to use, dispense it onto a clean cotton pad or paper towel and wipe away your make up. Some say you are all done, and can go right to bed, but I prefer to wash and follow with my regular skincare routine.
For the record, I quadruple this recipe and put it into a liter bottle where I can easily use it on a cotton pad, or transfer it to a smaller bottle with a pump or more manageable dispenser.
* Make sure you use FRACTIONATED coconut oil, and not regular. This is a liquefied coconut oil, and it is not the same thing as melted coconut oil. Not at all, not even a little. You can buy it from Amazon.
